After meeting a little girl with eczema all over her body, I decided I needed to create a soap and other natural products to help with such extreme skin conditions.
Again, I did a lot of research into skin issues and decided to use Calendula Officinalis because of it benefits to the skin.
All three products can be used on any age skin from brand new baby skin to paper-thin aging skin.
The Soap is Vegan, the others include honey.

Luna Bug soaps are unique works of art. I start by picking a series that is meaningful to me; then I research the characteristics for each part of the series and determine what ingredients to use for each. After the recipes are complete I concentrate on how they should look. I currently offer two such series:
Planetary Soap (Sol, Luna, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn)
Ancient civilizations were able to see these seven planets with the naked eye and worshipped them as gods (yes, we now know that the sun and moon are not planets). My soaps embody the influence they believed these gods had on human affairs and personalities.Seven Wonders (Aurora Borealis, Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef, Harbor of Rio de Janeiro, Mt. Everest, Paricutin Volcano, and Victoria Falls)
I didn't know this, but there are several "Seven Wonders" lists, what you will find here are, of course, the Seven "Natural" Wonders. I hope you enjoy these soaps as much as I enjoy making them. The way these soaps look are my interpretation of the real thing.My "Places to Travel" series is a little different as the ingredients in these soaps determines the name. (Hershey, Kona, Machu Picchu, Mazo Beach, Quakertown, Sarasota, and Sri Lanka)
When I create a new soap, sometimes it reminds me of a place I've heard about, lived, or visited, so the new soap gets the name of that place.My soaps are made with all-natural ingredients. I use vegetable oils and butters, quality herbs and botanicals, a generous amount of essential oils, and natural mineral pigments, oxides, and spices for color. Essential Oils are a gift from Mother Nature, and I love the incredible fragrances and how our sense of smell will react to an aroma before we can identify it. Being the nature/animal lover I am, I will not use animal oils nor synthetic fragrances in any of my products; many of my soaps are vegan.
